Application of time series in predicting the numbers of frequent visitors to the library of the Faculty of Arts - Kafr El Sheikh University

The research problem is represented in the need for the Library of the Faculty of Arts - Kafr El Sheikh University to predict the numbers of visitors. In order to be able to plan well to provide its services and practice its activities in the future. Its scientific importance is evident in the application of one of the predictive statistical methods in the field of libraries and information, and its practical importance in finding an accurate prediction for the numbers of libraries benefiting, which is useful in planning libraries to provide their services and practice their activities and aims to apply the time series analysis method in predicting the numbers of visitors to a college of university literature. Kafr El-Sheikh during the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, where this research was conducted in 2020, and it analyzes the time series of those who hesitated to the library of the Faculty of Arts, Kafr El-Sheikh University from 2010 to 2019, and the research was based on the case study method. The researcher used the statistical program Eviews9 and the research concluded that the appropriate model for predicting the numbers of visitors to the Library of the Faculty of Arts - Kafr El Sheikh University for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 is ARIMA (2,2,2), and the project was made during the next three years 2021 until 2023.
