The study aimed at exploring the future features of the university libraries in Egypt in the view of the many challenges facing them today and the successive developments that impose new roles in order to cope with the age. This was achieved by identifying the nature of changes in information services, monitoring the future visions regarding the new concept of university libraries as well as the future development of quality assessment criteria for information services, exploring the expected skills of information specialists, and identifying the trends in the management of information services in the near future. The study adopted the analytical descriptive method. It was also based on The Delphi Method as a major part of its approach in exploring the future of these libraries over the next 10 years as one of the most advanced techniques to be used in future studies. The final number of experts who participated in the study was thirteen. The most important results of the study were the strength of acceptance of the five axes of the future features of the university libraries in Egypt. The second axis came as the lowest of these criteria which was generally accepted, confirming the acceptance of the future characteristics of the university libraries every year.
