This study aimed at introducing the concept of cloud storing; its definition, importance, advantages, disadvantages, challenges and ways to overcome these challenges as well as aspects of benefit of cloud storing to the field of libraries. The study used the analytical descriptive approach, and reached the following results: there is a high possibility of making use of cloud storing in all institutions including libraries. Cloud storing is a basic factor in cloud computing that reduces costs for individuals and institutions, saves time and effort in seeking data from any place in the world. The study recommended that more research work should be undertaken in the field of cloud storage, and the necessity of activating cloud storage –taking the full information security precautions- in all institutions.
