Abstract

This study uses the comparative-historical method in order to shed
light on the intellectual life of Islamic and Christian Worlds during the
Sixteenth Century through two of the most famous and widely notorious
books that appeared in both environments during this Century, The first
one is entitled: Miftah al-Sa’adah wa Mishbah al-Siyadah Fi Mawdoa’at
Aloloom by : Thashy Kubri Zadah, The Second is entitled: Index of
Prohibited Books by Fernando de Valdés
