Readiness Of Libraries In Egypt to Support The National Strategy For Artificial Intelligence: Misr public libraries as a model

This study aimed to identify the extent of the readiness of libraries inside Egypt to support the national strategy for Artificial Intelligence, as well as the role of libraries in supporting national policies and strategies in Egypt, The study relied on the field survey approach to enumerate Misr public libraries, as well as the descriptive analytical method to describe and analyze the current status of libraries and their readiness in terms of human and material resources, activities and services provided by libraries to support and enhance Egypt's national strategy for Artificial Intelligence, and used the checklist item as a tool for collect accurate information and data for this; the interviews was conducted with the managers and officials of Misr Public libraries. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Weakness infrastructure for these libraries to support and enhance the national strategy for Artificial Intelligence, The libraries contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and Egypt's digital strategy, These libraries also contribute to supporting the national strategy for Artificial Intelligence by providing sources of information for beneficiaries in the field of artificial intelligence; Among the highlights of this study was the proposed program to enhance the role of libraries in supporting the national strategy for artificial intelligence in the country.
