Developing students' skills in using cloud computing with a proposed program

Abstract:
The study aimed to build a proposed electronic training program to develop the skills of using cloud computing (Google Drive application) for students of the preparatory year at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, and the training program was designed and built using the electronic learning system (Moodle) and according to the general educational design system (ADDIE). ), And the program included five training modules.
To achieve the aim of the study, the experimental one-group curriculum was used on students of the preparatory year at the university, where the study sample reached (20) students, and the study tools were represented in (achievement test, note card).
The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the average grades of the students in the pre and post measurement of the achievement test and also for the practical performance observation card in favor of the post measurement, achieving an impact and effectiveness with a gain rate greater than (0.6), which is the minimum percentage of modified earnings according to the Mac formula. Jeon.
At the conclusion of the study, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations that could contribute to the development of students ’skills in using cloud computing in the teaching and learning processes in the various curricula, whether at the bachelor’s or postgraduate levels.
