In recent times, Research misconduct is one of the most important issues in the scientific arena. Hence, the current study tried to shed light on this phenomenon and the extent of its spread in the Arab world, through the Arab Retracted articles. We found 416 scholarly publications retracted. Although they account for 0.027% of all articles published, The rate of retraction is rising. The most common reason to retract was Plagiarism (25%). Retractions due to Redundant Publication account for the second largest (23%). Retractions in the medical literature were highest (29%). The largest proportion of Retractions was issued by the publishers & Editors (68%).
